Spiritual healing, as the name implies, has a divine origin. By attuning him or herself a healer becomes a channel through which the healing energies flow from the divine source to the sufferer.

Healing is given on a non-denominational basis and regardless of colour, creed or race. Therefore, it is not necessary to hold any religious belief or to subscribe to any religious faith. Simply approach spiritual healing with an open mind and accept the divine energies that are being channelled to you.

The purpose of healing goes beyond securing physical improvement. Its approach is holistic, aiming to bring harmony in the body, mind and spirit.

Healing, whether it is given once or many times, can never be guaranteed to produce a cure. Certainly it will do no harm and in most cases there is a marked improvement.

When a person receives healing they will often experience a feeling of warmth and comfort accompanied by relaxation and often a sense of peace and upliftment.

On occasions, healing is successful in one treatment and whilst there are no fixed rules, healing is usually progressive and results appear gradually. Our advice is not to become discouraged and give up in the early stages. It is rare for anyone to continue with healing and not to receive some benefit.

There are no fixed rules concerning the regularity of the number of treatments but most healers work on the basis of one treatment per week. Although when someone is in pain of the condition is chronic then, where possible, treatments will be increased.

No charge is made for healing through Poole Christian Spiritualist Church but voluntary donations are gratefully accepted. Monies raised in this way contribute to the upkeep of the church.
